I am doing up a series of Marilyn portraits where she isn't giving us the quintessential 'look' - but random more candid expressions. I have around two more to go.

I loved this one especially because of the the lighting that bursts upward.
It took me about 14 hours to complete this piece. I haven't used my favourite medium: charcoal, at all in this portrait.

= Mechanical pencil 0.7
= Progresso 6 woodless graphite sticks 6B, 4B and Aquarell
= vinyl eraser
= blending stumps
